چکیده
Post-traumatic sphenoid sinus pseudoaneurysm arising from the cavernous segment of internal carotidartery (ICA) is rare, and even rarer occurrence an associated carotid-cavernous fistula (CCF). Here we presentthe case a young male patient presenting with intractable epistaxis due to post-traumatic sinuspseudoaneurysm carotid artery simultaneous fistula.

Carotid-cavernous fistula due to traumatic dissection of the extracranial internal carotid artery.
Six cases of traumatic dissection of the extracranial carotid artery that were all treated conservatively are reported. We report a case of a ruptured aneurysm of the anomalous cerebellar artery originating from internal carotid artery presenting with a carotid cavernous fistula (CCF). A postembolization angiogram of th...

The syndrome of delayed epistaxis and monocular blindness following nonpenetrating head injury is reviewed. Bleeding results from rupture of a traumatic cavernous internal carotid artery aneurysm into the sphenoid sinus. There were 96 patients with this syndrome found in the literature and another four are added in this report. In 73% of the patients, the cause of the epistaxis was not apprecia...
